1000 Armed Lokeshvara or Sahasrabhuja Lokeshvara is , the most important of the Bodhisattvas, leads us to realize that everything that has happened in our lives, whether directly or indirectly, is the result of our aspirations. Avalokeshvara – enlightened compassion is depicted in the thousand arms and eyes manifestation, symbolic of his endless compassion to all sentient beings.
He has 1000 arms and one thousand eyes. Howerver his original two hands and two eyes are not inclued. Out of 1000 arms of Avalokiteshvara, 38 arms of the his lokeshvara are depicted with various symbols or emblems.
